Privacy Policy
This notice explains how we handle information submitted in inquiries and information collected through optional measurement, the retention rules that apply, and how to contact us about your information.
Who is responsible and how to contact us
The data controller is GUANGZHOU MISSJEWELRY Co., Ltd., at 2nd Floor, Feite Business Building, No. 13 Gongye Street, Daping Village, Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong 511400, P.R. China. The JEWINS team handles inquiries and privacy requests. You can use service@jewins.com to ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion.
Inquiries and optional measurement
Information you choose to submit in an inquiry is used for handling that inquiry. The service@jewins.com mailbox receives RFQs; the JEWINS team forwards them to the colleague responsible for follow-up and downloads submitted attachments to handle the inquiry. JEWINS replies to inquiries within 24 hours. This inquiry response commitment does not set a deadline for completing privacy requests. The inquiry form and its operational handling are separate from optional measurement. Rejecting or withdrawing optional measurement does not prevent an inquiry.
With consent, first-party visitor and session identifiers, visited page paths and titles, language, referral origin, permitted campaign parameters, visit history and active browsing/form time may be measured. When you submit an inquiry, available consented context may be attached to it as a visitor summary and browsing journey. The measurement payload excludes inquiry text, contact fields and attachments. Google Analytics has a separate consent choice from first-party inquiry browsing insights. Consented source information, visited page paths and active browsing time may also be forwarded to the colleague responsible for following up your inquiry.
Cookies and browser storage
When optional measurement is available and no saved choice exists, the consent notice appears on the first page you visit. The first-party jewins_measurement and jewins_analytics cookies remember the separate browsing-insights and Google Analytics choices. A local browser receipt records the choice and its time; after 180 days it is deleted when next read. Clearing browser data also removes it; localStorage does not provide scheduled expiry. Optional first-party measurement uses jewins_growth_identity and IndexedDB for visitor/session coordination. Browser storage also communicates a changed choice between tabs. Optional measurement starts only after acceptance; no action or closing the notice does not give consent. Storage or scripts blocked by your browser may prevent preferences from being saved.
Identified JEWINS technical service providers are Vercel (hosting), Sanity (content management), Neon (inquiry and measurement database), Cloudflare R2 (private attachment storage) and Resend (inquiry email delivery).
Your choices and privacy requests
You can return to Cookie settings at any time to reject optional measurement or withdraw a previous acceptance. Withdrawal stops future optional collection and records the associated visitor measurement as withdrawn; it does not immediately physically delete historical records. Historical data remain subject to the retention rules below. You can separately request deletion at service@jewins.com. Withdrawal is not a request to erase an inquiry.
Deletion from the measurement database does not automatically remove visitor summaries already copied into inquiry emails or mailboxes, or downloaded attachments. For questions about your information or access, correction or deletion of inquiry/email records and attachments, contact the JEWINS team at service@jewins.com. These requests are handled separately from the cookie controls.
Google Analytics and Google data use
Google Analytics is optional and, when enabled, loads only after your separate, explicit Google Analytics consent. Accepting inquiry browsing insights alone does not enable it. You can refuse or withdraw that choice in Cookie settings. Advertising measurement remains off. The following link opens Google’s explanation of how it uses information from partner sites and apps.
Data retention
The following retention rules apply to inquiry information, website attachments and first-party measurement data.
| Data or storage | Retention rule |
|---|---|
| Pageviews | 90 days |
| Measurement database sessions and visitor snapshots | 180 days |
| Measurement choice and optional identity cookies | 180 days |
| Visitor records | 12 months |
| Withdrawal markers used to prevent delayed requests from restarting measurement | 181 days |
| Unconverted inquiries, original and forwarded inquiry emails, and attachments downloaded by follow-up colleagues | 12 months from the last substantive communication |
| Attachments uploaded through the website | 90 days after upload |
| Necessary information for completed orders | Transferred to order archives under the company’s financial, tax and after-sales rules |
Mailbox copies and colleagues’ downloaded attachments are managed separately; deleting Neon measurement records does not automatically delete them. The 12-month rule for unconverted inquiries also applies to original and forwarded emails and downloaded attachments. This notice does not promise automatic mailbox cleanup or a fixed backup deletion period.
